不久前，牛津官方发布了2020牛津心理专业面试时间——12月14日至12月16日。复习时间只剩下1个月，快看看来自实验心理直系学姐的的面试经验吧。

2020牛津心理专业面试时间来了

英国的牛津大学的心理学专业它具有非常深厚的教学历史，在1935年的时候，牛津大学就已经建立了心理实验学院，有了自己的实验室。

牛津大学实验心理学系包括 20 多个研究小组，有 400 多名本科生、研究生和研究人员。主要研究领域包括行为神经科学、认知神经科学、发展心理学、社会心理学和心理障碍。

牛津大学的学员通过小组辅导和高级学术人员的讲座学习心理学、神经科学、哲学、统计学和相关主题。除了为考试而学习外,学员还要完成实验室工作和作为课程一部分的研究项目。

许多学员学习完之后会继续从事研究或临床实践的职业,还有一些研究人员部分驻扎在纳菲尔德临床神经病学部,特别是牛津大脑功能核磁共振成像中心。这是一个的大脑成像中心,可以使用核磁共振成像设备，还与提供临床人口的精神科医院研究中心紧密相连,并有牛津人脑活动中心,该中心提供脑磁图(MEG)记录的设备。在国内,牛津大学认知神经心理学研究中心将病人研究与多模态脑成像相结合。其成立于一八九八年,历史悠久,享负盛名。

国内国际学校生欲攻读牛津共有四种途径：

1.A-level课程：3门A-leve，分数要求分布在AAA-A*A*A之间，视课程不同而不同。

2.IB课程：要求总分38-40分以上，高水准课程（Higher Level）要求6-7分以上。

3.SAT/ACT+AP课程，共有多种组合方式可以申请：

*(1)SAT+SATⅡ：SAT总分2100以上，其中阅读+数学不低于1400以上，写作不低于700分；3门SATⅡ，单科700分以上，具体要求的科目与所申请项目相关。

*(2)SAT+AP课程：SAT总分2100以上，其中阅读+数学不低于1400以上，写作不低于700分；3门理想分以上的AP课程，具体要求的课程与所申请项目相关。

*(3)ACT+AP课程：ACT总分32分以上；AP课程不低于理想分，具体要求的课程与所申请项目相关。

4.国内先读大一，而后以国际学校成绩+高考成绩+大一成绩申请。

2020牛津心理专业面试时间定在12月14日至12月16日，牛津的面试门槛比剑桥更高，不同专业的面试要求各有不同，想在1个月里充分准备还是有些压力的。

来自牛津直系学姐的面试经验分享

The interview is admittedly one of the most intimidating processes in the admissions. If the interviewers detect potential through your UCAS statement and TSA scores, they will send you an invitation for the interview.面试是申请中最让人心惊胆战的环节。如果面试官在你的个人陈述和TSA成绩中看到了你的潜质，他们就会邀请你参加面试。My interview experiences went like this: a day before the interview, my tutors sat me and other candidates down and told us that they were not interested about manners, extra-curricular activities, previous coursework, or work experience done on the subject. All they were trying to assess were the candidate’s thought process and critical analysis skills.面试前一天tutor让大家坐下，然后告诉我们他们一点都不在意你的个人修养，课外活动，之前上过的课程或者心理学相关的工作经验。他们唯一在乎的就是我们思维的过程和批判性分析的技巧。I had two 15-20 minute interviews in two different colleges over the span of three to four days. Surely enough, the tutors did not ask anything about my extra-curricular activities and coursework. The interview consists of analyzing/evaluating and coming up with psychology experiments. Expect your tutors to show you some kind of text, diagram, or graph. Although the webpage consistently mentions that you do not need prior experience to the course, it will be more beneficial for you if you have some basic understanding or knowledge of psychology. If you are not currently in a psychology course, then I recommend reading any kind of all-encompassing psychology text book to begin with (I recommend Psychology by Miles Hewstone, Frank Fincham and Jonathan Foster or The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat And Other Clinical Tales by Oliver Sacks)

Take some time to search your tutor’s main field of interest. Most likely, some questions that will come up in the interview will be from your tutor’s field of expertise.

Search up previous interview questions and try to practice with them, or consult a student that was admitted into the course. An interesting question from my interview was “how do you quantify moral judgement with an fMRI scan?”

Try to vocalize all of your thought process because it can contribute as an answer. For instance, if you were to come up with an ambiguous conclusion, it would behoove you to discuss the factors that weighed into coming up with that ambiguous conclusion rather than just saying “I’m not sure”.

There is no need to feel panicked if you cannot answer a question right away. The interview is a discussion process and the tutors know that these questions can be challenging, but make sure you can start off at some point in answering the questions.

Finally, be genuinely interested and enthusiastic about the subject that you are pursuing.

综合我个人经验和其他心理学学员的经验我有以下几点建议。

虽然申请页面上一直说你不需要对课程有任何经验，但有点基本的心理学知识肯定更好。如果你现在没有上心理学课程，我推荐你读一些综合性的心理学书籍。我推荐Psychology by Miles Hewstone, Frank Fincham and Jonathan Foster 以及 The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat And Other Clinical Tales by Oliver Sacks。

了解一下你tutor的擅长的领域，因为面试的问题很有可能来自这个领域。

找一些之前的面试问题练习，或者咨询一个心理学的在校学员。我面试中的一个有趣的问题是“how do you quantify moral judgement with an fMRI scan?”

把你思考的过程说出来，形成一个答案。比如，如果你得出一个模糊的结论，那么你应该讲明你的出这个结论背后的因素，而不是简单的说一句“我不确定”

如果你无法立刻给出答案，也不用急。面试只是一个讨论的过程，你的tutor知道这些问题很有挑战性。但是准备差不多了就要开始回答问题了。

最后，表现出你对于你选的专业的真诚兴趣和热情。

After consulting a tutor in Oxford, there seems to be no factors in the admissions process that is absolutely more important than the other.
