该。因为这是别人自由。freedom。但是不要孤立地看待freedom这个词，这个词背后是一张单词的网络。

什么是freedom

→→→自由就是你的权利right，

→→→自由就是你可以自己make choices，

→→→别人不可以force你做什么，也不能prevent你做你想做的，

→→→你可以choose自己想要的生活方式，

→→→而别人是没有任何理由来interfere with, 

→→→如果你willing to 做这些冒险活动，

→→→别人应该尝试understand或者support，

→→→而不应该impose他们的想法在你身上……

词汇网就是由上面这些单词构成的：freedom-right-make choice- x force- x prevent- x stop- choose- x interfere with- willing to- understand- support- respect- x impose- free will….

Personally speaking, I disagree that old people should not take risks and participate in adventurous activities. The most important reason is that it’s their freedom to do so. I mean they have every right to make choices about what kind of activities they are going to join. After all, it’s their life we are talking about. If they decide to choose to participate in some adventurous activities, say surfing, we simply can’t prevent or stop them from doing this, because we can’t just impose our understandings of life on them. That’s why I think, as long as they are willing to take the risk, we had better respect their choices and try to understand them.
