BBO生物竞赛含金量

英国皇家生物学会主办的英国中学生物奥林匹克 （British Biology Olympiad，简称 BBO），自 1995 年设立至今已有 21年历史，在英国竞赛中算是历史悠久，影响深远的理科活动之一。

获奖者将有机会角逐英国国家生物奥林匹克，在获得国际科学类活动邀请的同时，也能向目标大学证明自己的国际课程实力。

BBO生物竞赛考试时间

考试方式

比赛时间：2022年4月9日（周六）13:00-14:30

报名截止：2022年3月30日

参赛对象：任意年级的国际学校生

参赛方式：个人参赛

考试形式：90道单选题，中英文双语试卷，线上线下考点都有，线上考点考生需配备有摄像头的电脑及手机移动设备

BBO考几分能拿奖？

BBO共设五个奖项：金牌、银牌、铜牌、优秀奖、入围奖。

奖项将首先按照英国国籍学员的成绩分别以总分排名前 5%、15%、 30%、45%、60% 的比例划出得奖分数线，然后其他国家学员成绩不按照总分排名比例，而是直接参照获奖分数线来决定是否得奖。

2021年BBO生物竞赛的乌龙

今年的BBO竞赛出分后引起不少议论，国内考生成绩整体下滑，获奖也比往年减少。主要原因是官方在没有提前通知学员的情况下，对卷面做了较大改动：

题量增加：今年的题目从原本的70题左右扩展到90题。

题干加长：题干长度增长很多，大部分学员都没有做完全部题目

这两处改动直接影响了考生的心态和解题速度，因此今年中国考生们的BBO竞赛成绩并不理想，但也侧面反应：部分学员的阅读能力亟待进阶。

另一边，是英国本土学员采用线上考试，题目遭到泄露，本土学员成绩上涨，导致国际考生金银铜牌分数线水涨船高。
